I have been using Remifemin estrogen-free products for over a year and have been very pleased with them. I use the regular daytime supplement along with the Remifemin Good Night one. For over 6 months, I have not been able to find the Remifemin Good Night in the stores where I usually have purchased it (CVS, other pharmacies, WalMart). This has been very frustrating for me. Occasionally, when I run into luck and see it on the the aforementioned place's shelves, there is only 1 or 2 packages, however, usually it's just not there. So I tried purchasing it online here at Amazon and am pleased to say that now I don't have to be without. The Remifemin packages I've purchased here arrived quickly, wrapped well and I can now continue to order them and use them as I need. This product helps me to contain my hot flashes and definitely aids me to sleep better at night. I would highly recommend it to any woman suffering from menopausal symptoms. However, I've learned to adjust the dosage according to my body's needs. The package directions suggest taking one tablet per night, however, at least for me, I found that to be not enough. So at least for now, I take 2 tablets and that works just fine. I'm greatful for the Remifemin products as they help me get through the difficult menopausal period and I can feel safe and assured that I'm using an herbal remedy which is completely hormone free, non-habit forming and safe for my body. I highly recommend the Remifemin daytime and Good Night products. There is no need to suffer when such help is on the market. I just wish my area stores and pharmacies (in central CT) would stock it better. Therefore, I'm greatful I can purchase it through Amazon.

I highly recommend this product to safely relieve mood swings and hot flashes associated with menopause! Remifemin was recommended to me by my OB/GYN seven years ago as a safe alternative to hormone therapy for those women approaching and going through menopause who have had cancer and/or do not want traditional hormone therapy. She had done quite a bit of research and said that Remifemin is the only product she recommends because it comes from Germany where they regulate their herbs just like their drugs in quantity/quality testing and one must have the exact amount each dosage for it to work effectively. Note: Remember to follow the package recommendations of going off it for at least one week a year to prevent excessive buildup in the system which can result in flu-like symptoms (you will know if you forget!).

I started taking Estroven (or a generic alternative) after a couple of meltdowns at work that I noticed happened about PMS time. I did some research and found out that women who are perimenopausal get a double whammy with PMS. How unfair! The "Estroven" like products seemed to work okay, but I did some more research and found that they contain plant estrogen - a big no-no for a breast cancer survivor like me. I was happy to find this alternative. It is more effective (or at least as effective) as what I was taking before and I can feel good about it.
The reviewer who said this product was a natural hormone replacement was way off. It is an effective ALTERNATIVE to the natural hormone replacement you get with the other products. I take one in the morning and one at night. Thank you, Enzymatic Therapy! My co-workers would thank you too if they knew what you were doing for me. :)

Life saver! Helped all symptoms. Took it a while and everything got better. Now I have NO symptoms, no period for 7 months and I take nothing. Give it a try and see.

I have been using Remifemin Good Night for about 9 months now. I found that it took me about 5-6 weeks before I saw a noticable difference in my sleep patterns. What I like about it is that I can get a GOOD 6-8 hours sleep using this product and not wake up groggy the next morning. I was using over the counter sleep aids before and even though I only took 1/2 or the recommended dosage, I was always groggy. I also have had no hot flashes at night any longer (although mine weren't really bad anyway). So my advice is to keep with the recommended dosages for the prescribed time before making any final assessments. It's so little money for the benefits of finding a herbal, non-addictive remedy for regular sleep. It may not work for everyone, but it did work for me. I wish I had found it sooner.
